Honey It’s been a long time when I last wrote a love letter to you. I have written at least 100 love letters to you and you have written just 1 ! You always say you don’t know how to write a love letter and I Say at least say it how much you love me.

Where do I begin,,, she has been there for me like no one else has. She is the mother to my child, pink to my black, smile to my frown, white light pointing the way forward in darkness, heaven sent, fire and ice, the tempest, wild beauty, untamed heart, Emilia to my Iago (except that she helps me to become a better man), the eccentric sportsmen, creator of the “piyo”, rebellious anti-romantic, lady for the poor, mama’s girl, the German Sheppard lover, from innocent to naughty, from seductive voice to conservative libertine!

She lift my days and light my nights, yet she can kill you with a smile or with a deft touch, an ocean of incoherent thoughts for me to find my way to her promise land. A promise land in pink and white, where she he is running on green grass making heads turn as an aura passes them by. The love for sea food, newly acquired taste in Guinness and Newcastle ale tells a tale a girl wanting to be much more than her present.

She comes from bright land of wisdom, innocence and peace. She has unknowingly kissed chaos; she did not know what was coming, she was tricked into believing only the good and not the bad. She cried foul but took the punches in her stride, giving her strength to her man. Standing by her man! Casting a spell of purity and magic, protecting him from betrayal and thoughts that are tragic.

She did not realize but she has crossed the chaos, the flooding river, yet she feels lost in her own promise land. Did she really want it to start with? A little tired of waiting for the next big wave, she has started to create her own, ushered in by a born-again man, they come together in the most needful hour, they are the same. She needs to believe in him more, he needs to give her more. She will win her actual promise land, her freedom from confused thoughts and negative vibes! She will triumph over adversity only if she BELIEVES in herself and her old new man!

You always have a childhood song that you cherish the most, it strikes a chord with your memory lane. I am pleased to know that my favorite patriotic song “ Phir Mile Sur” is filmed all over again in a new set up. It’s a wonderful song and after almost 20 years you don’t get bored of listening to it again and again.

I have just seen the new video of “Phir Mile Sur ” with different stars but without a second thought the old vedio of “Mile Sur Tera Humara ” will always remain my favorite. Last night I saw the old version after years and years but I could sing the song remembering the exact tune and lyrics of Mile Sur Mera Tumhara

The one factor that was commendable in the old version was the way they had merged the diverse culture of India in one song. It’s an incredible feeling for some of the budding celebrities to be part of it like Shahid kapoor, Dipika padukone and Ranbir Kapoor .

I hope this iconic song will again inspire the new generation for many more years to come. Some songs are master piece and no matter how much you try to recreate the song you can never bring the same feel to it. And this is a live example of it! Anyway, I appreciate that the creators put an effort to promote this legendary song with the same passion and veracity.

It’s an amazing spiritual song. Some people find the song to be religious but I kind of disagree. The song makes you think about your journey of life and helps you discover yourself . The lyrics clearly narrate the way our life moves in mysterious ways. So don’t be afraid to open up and take out your fears, sorrows and insecurities from your mind.

• I don’t know why all of a sudden this song just came to my mind. There comes a phase in our life when each one of us can relate to this song. It’s from the movie "kareeb". The movie didn’t do well, but the songs were loved. It’s in the list of the most romantic songs .

• Yesterday I was talking to hubby about "Do we love just once in our lifetime?" "Does love happens just once in our life time?" We all know that not all the love stories have a happy end. If you love someone then to what extent you can go to be with the person for rest of your life

• I have heard and seen so many relationships that at one point seem so fulfilling that you start dreaming to have that kind of relationship. But after a while you come to know that the couples are not together anymore. Most of the breakups happen because of cultural differences, family restrictions, extra marital affairs and compatibility issues .

• I wonder that how come these obstacles force the lovers to breakup. Isn’t good for you to come out of the relationship when you see your partner not by your side in tough situations like these? What’s the guarantee that he/she will stick to you for rest of his/her life? Every relationship requires a great deal of effort to overcome certain issues that are bound to happen in our life. If you are not willing and gutsy enough to tackle the issues then how can it be love? There are a lot of questions that are cropping up in my mind. In the coming posts I will share my thoughts on the capital “C” of Commitment !

• The only blessing of life that matters the most is to be loved by someone you want to share your whole life with! Recently, we all witnessed how Barack Obama spectacular Inaugural won everyone’s heart. In the entire history of the whole world I have never seen any president who has a charm like of Barack Obama. He doesn’t hesitate to show his love for Michele to the whole world. Let’s face facts no president has ever expressed his love for his wife the way Obama has done recently.

• So what ? if he is the president of America – He also has his moments to share, then why to hesitate? Every lady needs to be told how much his man needs her, how much he respects her and how much she means to him. No matter for how many years you have been living together, still you want to feel the importance in your man’s life. I am sure all men need the same (I am highlighting this because I have been criticized of just writing from girls perspective!!!!) . Sometimes, just little expressions of love brighten up the relationship .

• 20^th Jan 2009 will be remembered by all of us! I and hubby were totally taken by the way Barack Obama and Michelle Obama so proudly danced expressing their love for each other in the most subtle way. It’s absolutely endearing the way Michelle Obama was looking at Barack Obama when he was being sworn in.
