• Parenthood is an opportunity to experience all the wonderful moments like baby holding your hand for the first time, your baby taking the first step of her life, you humming all the lovely poems for her which your mother sang to you, telling her a story while she goes to sleep in your arms, the very first day of Kinder garden and many more countless moments which you will cherish for rest of your lives.

• It does sound like a fun game but parenting is not an easy job, especially of a newborn baby. You need to diaper and feed after every interval! And how can you forget the crying part in the middle of the night! Needless to say, parenthood is a challenging responsibility where you have to nurture the development of your child from the very first day.

• You can’t compromise on any aspect of child’s development that is why parenthood involves a special care system and a total commitment in bringing up a child. Indeed it’s a difficult task and it becomes tougher and more challenging when you are a single parent. It becomes a bit easier when you have your partner’s support in bringing up the child.

Handling kids

In today’s scenario, we all are aware that the cost of living is sky high. These days both the parents have to work to provide a decent education facility for their kids. After realizing that you are the only one who is a single source of income then it becomes a challenge to manage everything in a limited income. Don’t give up be positive that you can do it, you need to be self assured in order to accept the whole situation and planning the way out to deal with it in the most sensible way.

Not able to trust people easily

You will find it hard to trust people; it’s obvious that you will take some time to actually like someone. But don’t put unreasonable expectations while dating someone. In a subconscious state of mind you will start comparing the behavior of your date with your ex. There is nothing wrong to scrutinize someone to know the person better, but try to avoid the comparison part because every individual is different and no one is perfect. If you couldn’t get along with your ex that doesn’t mean that you will loose any hope of falling in love again.

Emotional Trauma

Every divorce has to go through the emotional trauma; certainly it takes time to heal from the heartbreaking feel of a breakup. In many cases you end up getting depressed and feel dejected or loose interest in relations.

Simple Ways To Make Kids Happy

In case before getting a divorce your kid’s demands were always fulfilled, but now due to lack of sufficient funds you are not able to give the best entertainment source to your child. The most important thing which you can offer to your child is the quality time, you can take her out to a park and you can easily buy story books, video games, vcds or some toys. You don’t have to always buy an expensive stuff to please your kid.

Join any club

Don’t be afraid to socialize with the outside society, if you think people will judge you based on your personal life then most probably you will never be able to face the world.
I personally know many single parents who are very encouraging in their own way, when you listen to other peoples story it gives you a strength to be stronger. Never forget to help needy people; this will give you a sense of confidence to provide an emotional support to others by encouraging them to fight against all the odds. What can be the most promising thing, if you can actually set an example of yourself by proving that single parenting is not something which you should feel depressed about.

Try to socialize

It’s advisable to try dating, to divert your mind from the daily tensions. Your apprehensions towards your kid are justifiable, but always see the brighter side of the picture. Take out some time for yourself to relax your mind; you can meditate every morning to generate a positive outlook towards life. Gradually your problems will fade away, just don’t give up, you deserve a new start!

Handling kids concerns

We all know that children get affected the most by divorce. It gets very complicated for a single parent to talk about their ex, just because of the reason that you couldn’t get along with them you can’t expect the kids to hate their father or mother. Every child needs affection from both the parents, in many cases even after divorce the parents love towards the child never dies and vice versa.

Time management

When you are a working woman, then naturally it will get difficult for you to manage your time with your kids and at your work place. There comes a need to organize your time in a most effective way. Try to maintain a diary to plan out everything to avoid any kind of chaos in your life.
In the end all it matters is that you are giving your best in very possible way, you need to conquer the psychological challenge of being alone.

• First of all it’s not a review of the movie. It’s more about realization of few important thoughts which ‘We The People” needs to understand.
• The movie was released in way back 2004. I recently watched it and found a masterpiece. The movie is based on a book by S. Hussein Zaidi. I remember when the movie was released I was reluctant to watch it because it was like “re- living the most horrendous moments of 1993 blasts”
• The film has depicted some of the facts in a nerve wrecking way. Some of the dialogues have so much deep meaning to it. I still remember 1993 Mumai Blasts, though I was a kid.
• But still you can comprehend when your country goes through a disastrous and painful incident. It left the whole country numb. Needless to say, it’s a contentious issue to portrait.
• The issue required the director and the writer – to bring out the emotions and pain of both the Muslims and Hindus. One aspect of the movie represents the very fact on how terrorists groups take advantage of jobless people.

• When an individual goes through tough times where they dont have any funds to even survive. Sometimes situations make them fragile and as a result anyone can brainwash their mind. Especially, for young people who become vulnerable and look for options that can provide them financial help for their family.
• All the characters of the movie have given an outstanding performance. The writers and the director of the movie have studied the incidents before the the blasts when communal riots happened and also the aftermath of the blasts.
• The view point of Hindu’s religious communities and Muslim immigrants are shared without any bias feeling. The “Babri Masjid” incident and the brutal killings of thousands of innocent civilians make you numb.
• One incident in the movie which says it all is when one of the terrorists gets arrested and then starts defending his actions by saying that it’s a “jihad” i.e the power of God have influenced us to commit the attack against Hindu’s. Then Kay Kay menon who is the inspector in the movie says. If Allah was with you then you would never have got caught.

It’ so true, as it’s a fact that some of the Muslim terrorists groups shield themselves by labeling their attacks as “Jihad”.

• One of the main reason of the communal riots is because the political parties also benefit from it. Therefore, they don’t do anything to gain a control on the whole situation. Actually, we can’t solely blame anyone for the riots. There are many factors that needz to be studied. For example:-
• Some people have a belief that whatever is happening is justified from their point of view. Due to the fact that in the past either of the party (hindus or muslims) faced injustice. ( Both muslims and hindus have their justifications and stories when they suffered). Whenever I talk abou this with anyone – all they come up with is ” They also did this n dat in the past” So it has become a kind of revenge on other religionz.
• Second of all, there are certain section of people ( both muslim and hindus) who literally oppose the attacks against any religion but they are too afraid to come forward and share their opinions.
• For instance, muslims are being treated with suspicion everywhere, whether its in India or Abroad. Not all muslims are terrorists and there are some genuine muslims who are peacemakers/peacekeepers.
• But the point is “every terrorists always turn out to be a muslim”, that’s why muslims always fall in the category of mistrust. And “We the People” you and me are helpless every time we witness some or the other kind of religious violence. Sometimes, I feel remorseful for Muslims that they get unfaur treatment.

• How can anyone justify “polygamy” as a religious belief?
• And how can the government re-establish the women who have been the victim of polygamy? In the past the way the government did was taking away all the kids from the polygamy women. Will it resolve the issue??
• Let’s discuss on the ways to eradicate the religious belief which is attached with polygamy. Is Polygamy an excuse to have multiple partners?
• What I understand is that “polygamy is a type of oppression and slavery where children are forced to follow the religious beliefs of polygamy. Young girls get married at an early age to older men. Some are even sexually molested by their own parents. Every single women living in polygamy goes through rape, sexual abuse and as a result their human rights are violated.
• Many Muslim men in the US secretly get married to multiple wives. Why it’s still not being reported? In Africa almost all the women have experienced Polygamy. Why it’s still not reported in the media.

We often think that why these women are not coming forward if they are being victimized. Are they really happy in the kind of environment they are living in? But how can we ignore the fact that there is a possibility that ‘they are quiet because of fear of being taken away from their kids. And most of the polygamy women are too scared to stand against their religious community without any support. Most of the polygamy women are not educated and are dependent on their husbands for financial help.

It’s a high time to stop the perilous practice of polygamy.
