Meditation candles


  • First I would like to focus on Meditation for the beginners. I will list some simple steps to start Meditation.
  • Sit at any place that you find it comfortable, just make sure that you sit straight in a relaxed posture. Keep your hands upwards right on your lap with your eyes closed.
  • Now, slowly look into your body by scanning through, take out any thoughts that are restricting your focus. I’m sure you will take a few attempts to follow this practice of meditation without any hindrance. But slowly you will get through it smoothly.
  • Initially in the process of gaining concentration of your mind, you will face a few distractions. Gradually, you will learn how to make your mind relaxed by overcoming all cluttered thoughts which can trap your mind at some point.
  • No matter what kind of tensions you are going through, meditation will release you from all the kinds of stress. Tell yourself that you have to free your mind with all the negative thoughts, and you will win over all the depressive thoughts that don’t allow you to have peace of mind.
  • Once you are in a fully relaxed frame of mind, you are all set to follow the next step of meditation. Tell yourself that you are strong enough to go through any hurdle in your life. As Life is full of obstacles and challenges, all you need is the will power and the right approach to deal with the problems.
  • The most important exercise of meditation is the concentration exercise. Mostly, people take 10- 15   classes to gain focus by tackling different kinds of mundane thoughts that will block your mind.
  • Many people give up in the first few classes because they don’t really comprehend the right technique of meditation. So if you don’t get it right in the first few times, don’t be hard on yourself. Just give yourself some time to discover the art of meditation.
  • Once you realize the beauty of life you will discern that half of the battle is already won. I believe that every individual has the power to inspire themselves. Give yourself the freedom to scan your soul, mind and heart.

  • Gain focus on your breath, feel your breath as it moves from your nose and comes out of the mouth. In order to gain a peaceful concentration of mind, you can play soothing music, light candles around you, feel the moment of sunrise or the sound of the river.

  • I have been practicing Meditation for over few months. Initially, I didn’t notice any benefits of Mediation, because I was not familiar with the right techniques of Meditation. Later on I thought of doing a bit of research to discover the basic essentials of Meditation. It took me over a month to get the insight of various techniques of Meditation.
  • Finally, I have realized that how Meditation can actually change your life by uplifting your spirit. Needless to say, that Meditation has attracted millions of people. Earlier it was considered as just a religious kind of activity. But for the last many years people have shown interest from all over the world. Whether it’s a common man or great celebrities like Sting or Madonna.
  • You will find so many people who are curious to discover the art of meditation. Some people want to do it to gain a self control on themselves; some want to overcome the day to day stress level which we all experience in life and some wants to gain an immense urge to realize the meaning of their existence.
  • For me Meditation is a way to realize that Who I am? – What I don’t want to be ?– What I want to be? And mot of all How I Feel about “ The Way I am or The way I live my life” So if you also feel the way I feel then don’t hesitate to discover the benefits of meditation. Let’s find the best techniques to purify our minds with the help of Meditation.

Following are the best diet plan which you can easily stick to all through your life. There are so many diet and fitness plan available online which helps you on how to plan a healthy nutrition. But you can’t stick to those plans forever. Therefore, it’s recommended to choose a smart diet plan which is easier to adopt in your day to day life.

  • Never skip your breakfast. It’s a common saying that [Eat your breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince and dinner like a beggar] It implies that your heaviest meal should be in the morning [this allows your body to digest all the calories in the whole day] a bit lighter in the afternoon and dinner should be the lightest one. Eat dinner before 3 hours of sleeping.
  •  Don’t stuff yourself with heavy meals. Smaller portion of food are recommended to provide your body enough energy all through the day. The trick is not to starve your self to loose weight. The only way to reduce weight is to introduce smart way of eating in your daily routine.
  • Stick to wheat bread instead of white bread.
  •  Don’t forget to give a kick start to your body by playing your favorite sports. Perhaps, some people find gym exercising quite boring. Especially, for those people who detest sticking to a strict regime of hitting a gym 5 days a week.
  •  Experiment with baked and grilled food rather than fried food. Research suggests that frying food is not a healthy option. It not only takes away the nutritious value of the food but also adds loads of calories.
  • Say a BIG No to whole milk. There are different percentages of toned milk available in the market so switch to 1 % milk. It will save you from the intake of almost 45 calories.
  • If you feel like having some desserts then try sharing it with your friend.
  • Always include a small portion of salad and fruits in your meals. Preferably, eat fruits and salads before starting your meal.
  • Whenever you feel hungry just grab some fresh fruits. Make fruits as a source of snacks rather than munching fried dry fruits or chips all the time. Fruits are easy to carry, always keep two types of fruits in your bag. Note:- Dry Fruits are not unhealthy provided you take it the right way. Almonds are great option for cardiac health but if you are having the fried version of it then it becomes unhealthy. You can soak 5-6 almonds in water at night and have it in the morning without peeling off the skin. It’s a myth - dry fruits increases weight. If you have a limited amount of it in the right way then without a doubt you can reap its health benefits.
  • Try to pack your office lunch with you. Of course you have to reach your office early and you are always worried about the traffic on the roads. Hence, every working individual prefer to grab lunch from outside, indeed sometimes its convenient but the point remains that is it healthy?. In the morning you can make a sandwich for yourself. There are millions of healthy recipes which can be ready in no time. This weekend take out some time to learn different recipes on Google.
  • Try to keep a track on what you eat. At the end of the day you can write the kind of food you had. It hardly takes 5 minutes every day to maintain a diary. Develop a habit to relax before going to sleep and indulge in introspection. 
  • It’s good that you like sandwiches and it’s also a healthy option. It’s healthy only if you are not adding unhealthy ingredients like a slice of cheese, mayonnaise. On the other hand, if you replace it with mustard and tomato sauce then sandwiches would be an idle snack for you.
  • Try having different varieties of soups, which is not only a healthy option but also delicious.
  •  Whenever you eat something, don’t roam around just sit and enjoy the meal [take your time in chewing instead of just gulping it ]
  • In today’s busy life when jobs have become so demanding and you find it hard to cope up with the pressure. More and more people tend to grab a tin of bear or a soft drink and skip their lunch. First of all bear, soda and cold drinks are unhealthy options. You can keep a pack of Green Tea with you and anytime you feel you can easily dip in hot water. It’s a well known fact that Green Tea benefits.  

  • Needless to say, fruits and vegetables juice are really good to have. But don’t grab a pack of juice which has preservatives and added sugar (though all of companies claim they don’t have). Always go for fresh juices.  
  • I personally love Non- Veg Food. But I do like to eat green vegetables also. Don’t just stick to Non Veg food all the time. It’s advisable to strike a balance between the two.
  • Experiment with different kinds of healthy food. Once you start enjoying various varieties of food then you will start enjoying cooking at home. Therefore, it’s easier to count the calorie intake by knowing what all ingredients you are adding to your recipe.  
  • Never Go OverBoard With Alcohol. I personally don’t think that Alcohol is bad – but at the same time I believe anything over its limit is dangerous. Thus, try the limit the intake of alcohol. There are enough evidence that too much of alcohol and smoking lead to health hazards. Hence, guzzling 2-3 can of bears in a week perfectly fine. And don’t forget to Enjoy Good Wine.
  • The utmost important factor is your “Tolerance Level”. In order to follow a healthy diet plan you need to practice will power. Meditation can really be helpful in gaining control over your temptations.

Spend few days writing about your self. Self therapy can do wonders in enhancing your inner beauty. You need to set a direction for yourself that will help you in achieving your goals. Success is not a gift that just falls in your lap; it requires a great deal of effort to lead a blissful life. Examine how your actions make you happy or miserable. Each individual wants to enjoy life but sometimes they just don’t make the right choices.

Everything that you want to attain in your life needs an action plan and when you attain your goals you feel a sense of achievement that makes you feel blissful. Many people are unhappy because of the disappointments in their life. Stop cursing yourself for not being good enough. Try not to cry over your failures in life. Let’s share your emotions and try to find a way by which you can lead a contended life without any regrets.

Don’t invade in others privacy

It’s a natural human tendency to be curious about things that they don’t know, especially when it’s about others. There is a simple reason why people are investigative about other peoples’ business - either they want to judge them or criticize them. Obviously this kind of attitude isn’t well received and can be very annoying for the other person.

Its a human tendency, we tend to get hurt and develop anger against someone who has deeply affronted you. Indeed forgiveness is the most difficult thing, but amazingly, it does wonders for your mental and physical health. Though it’s not easy to forgive, but always remember only strong people can nurture a forgiving character. Once you inculcate a forbearing nature, you will notice a drastic change in yourself. You will feel relived and more relaxed than ever before.

Self respect towards your achievements in your life

We often forget to praise our self and just crave for others to appreciate us. As a result, most of the time we end up feeling dishearten. In our day to day life sometimes we feel disappointed when you don’t get recognition for the effort you put in. We feel discouraged when our boss doesn’t acknowledge our hard work, your partner doesn’t admire, leaving you depressed and upset.

Take some time to praise yourself, assure yourself that you are putting your best effort and it won’t go waste. If you face criticism, then take it in the right spirit. Sometimes we end up developing enmity towards certain people who have not treated us right. So in retaliation we tend to be rude with them. Most people follow the policy of “tit for tat”. But once we change our attitude and remove the feeling of revenge, we can actually win over all those people who have been discourteous with us.

Try to be independent

If you think that you can do something on your own try to do it. Don’t be dependent on someone for small things and if you can do something now “just do it” instead of delaying it for some other time.

Intimacy with your loved ones is a must

Your family or friends act as a support. It’s essential to spend some quality time with your loved ones with whom you share your fears, sorrows, and happiness. In today’s chaotic life many people take their family for granted. Always remember that the bond between you and your family needs to be nurtured all the time. The relationship between you and your family requires special attention.

Maintain your relationship by being there with your loved ones at their time of need. Helping them will give you a feeling of deep emotional satisfaction. Needless to say, family is the most essential part of your existence; it prevents you from living in isolation. Let’s commit to ourselves that we will never take our loved ones for granted. As we all know that the blessing of our loved ones matters a lot!

For living your life king size enjoy every moment of it. Be optimistic in any kind of circumstances. Eat healthy, laugh a  lot and do regular exercise.
