Some inspiring words that my hubby’s grandfather told him, words that are simple yet influential. He shared his story of life – his mistakes, his regrets and a lot more. He said whatever mistakes I made just don’t make those mistakes. It’s certain that you will have your share of mistakes based on your life experiences. This made me think on what kind of approach we have towards our lives and how crucial it’s to realize certain important aspects.
Today after a long time I felt a “zeal” to write something about how each one of us are leading our lives and how many of us are focussed. How the most influential people have achieved success and attained their goals. How one human being is more focussed than another? The philosophy behind all this is far complicated than it looks like.
The only place in your body that help you attain your goals is your mind. When you lead your life there are many distractions and obstacles that can divert your path from your goals. But if you have control within your mind you will become more determined to achieve your goal and be focussed in life.
Your mind dictates your day to day activity on how you react to certain situations in life. Take charge of your mind with a positive outlook, fear of a failure and negative thoughts are bound to come but once you exercise control on your mind and work hard towards your goals your life will be transformed in a good way.
Look for inspiring figures; read the biographies of influential people you will learn something from their struggle in life. Now is the time when you can unleash your true potential and realize of what you are capable of attaining in life.
On the other hand, have you ever wondered how People tend to work on their outer appearance more than their inner soul. Majority of us are willing to do anything that it takes to look attractive but how many of us hear their inner voice. Little do we know that the only place that can help you to lead a fulfilling life is when you discover your mind power?
Well Well Well today Ask yourself a few questions if you want something more from your life. Do you have control on your mind and your thought process?
Once upon a time there was a rich King who had four wives.
He loved the 4th wife the most and adorned her with rich robes and treated her to the finest of delicacies. He gave her nothing but the best.
He also loved the 3rd wife very much and was always showing her off to neighboring kingdoms. However, he feared that one day she would leave him for another.
He also loved his 2nd wife. She was his confidant and was always kind, considerate and patient with him. Whenever the King faced a problem, he could confide in her, and she would help him get through the difficult times.
The King’s 1st wife was a very loyal partner and had made great contributions in maintaining his wealth and kingdom. However, he did not love the first wife. Although she loved him deeply, he hardly took notice of her !
One day, the King fell ill and he knew his time was short. He thought of his luxurious life and wondered, “I now have four wives with me, but when I die, I’ll be all alone.”
Thus, he asked the 4th wife, “I have loved you the most, endowed you with the finest clothing and showered great care over you. Now that I’m dying, will you follow me and keep me company?” “No way!”, replied the 4th wife, and she walked away without another word. Her answer cut like a sharp knife right into his heart.
The sad King then asked the 3rd wife, “I have loved you all my life. Now that I’m dying, will you follow me and keep me company?” “No!”, replied the 3rd wife. “Life is too good! When you die, I’m going to remarry!”
His heart sank and turned cold.
He then asked the 2nd wife, “I have always turned to you for help and you’ve always been there for me. When I die, will you follow me and keep me company?”
“I’m sorry, I can’t help you out this time!”, replied the 2nd wife. “At the very most, I can only walk with you to your grave” Her answer struck him like a bolt of lightning, and the King was devastated.
Then a voice called out: “I’ll go with you. I’ll follow you no matter where you go.”
The King looked up, and there was his first wife. She was very skinny as she suffered from malnutrition and neglect. Greatly grieved, the King said, “I should have taken much better care of you when I had the chance!”
In truth, we all have the 4 wives in our lives:
Our 4th wife is our body. No matter how much time and effort we lavish in making it look good, it will leave us when we die.
Our 3rd wife is our possessions, status and wealth. When we die, it will l all go to others.
Our 2nd wife is our family and friends. No matter how much they have been there for us, the furthest they can stay by us is up to the grave.
And our 1st wife is our Soul. Often neglected in pursuit of wealth, power and pleasures of the world. However, our Soul is the only thing that will follow us wherever we go.
Cultivate, strengthen and cherish it now, for it is the only part of us that will follow us to the throne of God and continue with us throughout Eternity.
The first and the foremost step to stop depressing thoughts are to Get In Action. Most of the time we just keep on pondering about things that we want to do in our life. But we hardly make an initiative to take action towards it. You need to transform your thoughts into action; then only you will be able to attain a sense of fulfillment within you.

Hard work is the key to every step in your life; it’s the only factor that will impel you to achieve your goals . Once you start working on the ways to keep yourself occupied by indulging in constructive work; then your mind will stop wondering hopeless thoughts.
Spice up your life by introducing different kinds of creative activities like sports, charity or any form of activity that involves you getting in touch with the nature. You will find a new “YOU” once you start engaging yourself in certain help aid for needy people.
Be thankful to god for what you have. Try to connect to your inner voice ; it will make you realize of how blessed you are, how strong you are and how stronger you can be to face any hurdle in your life. Never ever underestimate your capabilities. Believe in yourself that you and only you have the power to make or break you. Don’t let others curb your desire to be an achiever . It’s not an easy journey to transform your life, that’s where the fun lies, isn’t it?
Embrace the new you by driving away all the negative thoughts. Don’t be afraid to try something from which you have been running away because you fear of loosing. I have shared my personal thoughts based entirely on my own experience. Over a period of time I have rediscovered myself. With each passing phase of my life I am uncovering a new chapter of my true self. It’s an empowering process of getting to know you’re self. I hope some of my thoughts will be of some help to others.
Here I go – I have started planning on how to reduce post pregnancy weight gain . I know it will be difficult this time. That’s why I wannnnaaaaaaa make the whole weight loss plan fun. My point of view towards weight loss is simple. We tend to eat the wrong kind of food to soothe our emotions.
Whenever we are stressed out we choose emotional eating over healthy eating . Therefore, the whole idea of healthy eating requires us to find out ways to soothe your emotions so that you develop the right kind of healthy eating habits . This time my weight loss destination will take few months!
My son is my motivational factor this time!! After being a mom I feel stronger than ever before. I don’t know it’s a strange feeling but I feel a sense of strength to be more determined in whatever I try to do or achieve. It’s like as if I need to make him proud of having me as his mom! Sigh
I will try to increase my stamina to take out time to go out for an evening walk. As of now, my sleep deprivation is not letting me free to start my workout plan. Nonetheless, I will strive to reduce weight day by day and will give a weekly update of the progress.
I know the subject line is quite startling for all of you..it also captured my attention…
The add illustrates Goddess lakshmi on a meat burger and the catch phrase is “ A snack that is sacred”
Needless to say, the act has resulted into a lot of criticism. The point is – how can you associate the goddess with the whole idea of promotion? And what’s so sacred about a meat burger?
Honestly speaking, I didn’t like! I do agree I am also one of those millions of Indians who express our rage whenever we witness Indian Goddesses used for commercial publicity. Whenever any company has used any Indian goddesses it has caused an outcry among “We the Indians”– The last time I Saw the Images of Lord Rama on bikinis which were designed by Roberto Cavalli. Eventually, he had to pull out the whole stock from the market with an official apology.
Why Indians treat these kinds of acts as a heinous crime?
